Dear Pat,
I am so glad to hear from you. It was 1991 when we last spoke on the phone. We have so much catching up to do. First you are one of my all time favorite people and you were always very good to me. Karen and I were married in 1993 and are still hanging in there with each other. I am cleaning pools for a living and we just bought a retirement home in the mountains of North Carolina.
The picture you sent was taken here in mid 1980's and was my Christmas photo with Blackie and Madam. I am writing my autobiography online at davidsautobio.org, and have stories and photos there. I am on Facebook and have a website for my pool service at davidspoolservice.com.
I miss hearing from you guys and often wonder what you are up to. Can you send me Jan's contact info or give her mine? I have 2 different addresses for Sharon, too. I have some current photos on my Facebook page.
Were you and Sharon at Mother and Dad's slide show party when you spent the night with me in Palm Valley in the little trailer? That was October 19, 1986. Writing my life story has been very therapeutic, putting everything in chronological order. I went so many places and did so many things, it's mostly a jumble in my mind. Mother and Dad have both passed on and I miss them. I see my sister and brother occasionally, and guess what? I have a daughter, two grandsons, and a great granddaughter in Statesboro, Georgia as a result of my lifeguard days. I am still lifeguarding in Jacksonville Beach, mostly teaching. They let me back in the Lifesaving Corps in 1993, after getting kicked out in 1968.
